Update 2 – May 6, 2020
Village Club Members:
I wanted to provide you with another update to let you know that Village Club board met this past weekend and we are continuing to work on plans to open the club and we are targeting an opening date as close to June 1st as possible, assuming that the Governor’s stay at home order is lifted on May 26th.
We are working through details regarding all aspects of the club operations and we hope to have a definitive open date and our new operating model with focus on social distancing to share with you soon. Once we share the guidelines, you will have the option to maintain your membership for this year or go on a ‘hiatus’ status for 2020. This status is $50 and will hold your spot at the club for one year. If you elect a hiatus status this year you will be refunded for your membership minus the hiatus fee. More details to come on this option in the next few weeks but I have been asked many questions about refunds so I wanted to share this information.
There have also been several questions raised about using the tennis courts before the club officially opens and we will have further information on that in the coming weeks. For now, the tennis courts are not available for use.
I ask that everyone please be patient as the board and management works through the details around opening. We will continue to communicate as we reach decisions regarding our operating model for this summer.
As always, you can reach out to me if you have any questions.

Update 1 – April 27, 2020
Village Club Members,
The board met this past weekend (April 26) to talk about the current state of COVID-19 and the status of the Village Club for this summer and we wanted to provide an update to all of you. We unanimously agreed that our goal is to open the Village Club this summer and we are going to target opening around or as close to June 1st as possible and will stay open through Labor Day. That being said, there are lots of details that we need to work out to ensure we are complying with the Governor’s bounce back program for the state while also considering social distancing guidelines.
The board and management will be meeting weekly to work through changes and modifications that will need to be made to ensure we are doing our best to keep everyone safe. Once we have our operating format determined we will be sure to communicate the details to everyone.
The board is committed to operating safely but also working to create a fun family environment for all members. Please be patient as we work through the details and know that we will communicate more as we know more. Lastly, I would like to remind everyone that the tennis courts are not available for use right now as we work through our new operating model. We will have more information on all activities in the coming weeks.
On behalf of the board and management, we thank you for your patience as we work to figure out the new guidelines for the club. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
